THE PATH IS CLEAR

After a successful 2023 campaign that saw Boulder County United finish third in the Mountain Division, the highest finish of any Colorado team, we are eager to begin our 2024 USL2 campaign. And we are equally as excited to get our first season of USL W underway having been just been named as one of USL’s expansion clubs for their women’s pre-competitive league!

Think you’ve got what it takes to play for Colorado’s top USL2 or USL W side? Want to represent your home turf and compete in the USL?  Tryouts will be held on January 6, with USL2 running from 11 am – 1 pm followed by the USL W tryouts from 2 – 4 pm.  Both tryouts will be held at East Boulder Community Center.  The cost is $50 per player for USL 2 and $20 per player for USL W with a limit to 60 players for each tryout.

What is the USL

The United Soccer League (USL) is the largest and fastest-growing professional soccer organization in North America, possessing more than a decade of experience in bringing the world’s game to communities across the United States and Canada.

Overseeing the USL Championship (USSF Division II), League One (USSF Division III), League Two (Pre-Professional), W League (Pre-Professional), USL Academy (Pre-Professional), and Super Y League (Youth) the organization is built on a proven and recognized model in international football and counts more than 200 clubs in its membership.

Our Vision

Our club is one of a small select group of youth clubs in Colorado to become a part of the USL organization and provide a complete pathway from youth to adult soccer.

Our vision with Boulder County United USL programming is targeted in 3 main areas – to develop soccer culture, playing opportunities and club diversity, for our community.

  1. To bring a high-quality soccer experience to our community that allows local players, families, and fans to have access to watch live USL matches here in the Boulder County area, enhancing our soccer culture.

  2. To create the highest level playing avenue for players in our area with a pathway from USL Academy to the USL Pro Divisions, both on the men’s and women’s sides.

  3. To create a ‘destination’ soccer opportunity for ambitious players to spend their summer competing in USL 2 and USL W, bringing together the best possible talent in a special playing environment.
